Content Guidelines
Last updated October 19, 2026. Always Happens helps people celebrate birthdays and meaningful occasions through factual date discoveries and personalized videos. These guidelines apply to photos, messages, names, and other material you submit, as well as content shared through our service. We assume people use the service with good intentions and ask everyone to treat others with respect.
Celebrate respectfully. Warm wishes, affectionate humor, personal stories, thoughtful tributes and factual discussion are welcome. A funny or critical message is not automatically prohibited; context, the people involved and the risk of harm matter.
No hate or discrimination. Do not submit slurs, dehumanizing content, calls for exclusion or violence, or attacks on people based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, disability, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation or similar protected characteristics.
No harassment, bullying or threats. Do not use a video to intimidate, humiliate, stalk, sexually harass or threaten someone, including a former partner or a public figure. Do not encourage others to target a person or share abusive messages disguised as a celebration.
Protect children. Do not submit content that exploits, endangers, sexualizes or targets minors. Only upload a child's image if you have appropriate permission from a parent or guardian, and do not reveal a child's private location, school, contact information or other sensitive details.
No sexual exploitation or explicit sexual content. We do not create videos containing pornography, non-consensual intimate images, sexual coercion or sexually explicit depictions. Any sexual content involving minors is prohibited.
No threats, glorification of violence or dangerous conduct. Do not promote violent extremism, credible threats, cruelty, graphic violence for shock value, or encouragement of self-harm or dangerous challenges. We may consider appropriate context in genuine educational, documentary or artistic material.
No scams, impersonation or deceptive manipulation. Do not use someone's name, image or voice to impersonate them, fabricate an endorsement, deceive a recipient, commit fraud or spread materially misleading claims likely to cause serious harm. Our factual calendar connections must not be represented as evidence of a personal relationship or endorsement by a public figure.
Respect privacy and consent. Submit photos and messages only when you have the rights and permissions needed for the intended personal video. Do not expose addresses, phone numbers, passwords, government identifiers, medical or financial records, or other people's sensitive personal information without appropriate permission. Private order photos are not permission for us to use them in advertising.
Respect intellectual property and the law. Do not submit media you are not authorized to use, material promoting illegal transactions, or spam and unsolicited commercial promotions. A photo or audio clip being accessible online does not automatically grant permission to use it.
Our review and decisions. Always Happens reserves the right to ask for different material or decline to create, approve, deliver or make available a video that does not meet these guidelines, including when the concern is identified during final review. We consider context and severity; we do not promise that every submission will be reviewed in advance. Serious or repeated misuse may lead to restrictions on the service. These rules do not limit rights provided by applicable law.
